Richard H.  Dougherty
DOUGHERTY, Richard H., entered Paradise on May 8, 2018, of Marlton NJ. Age 88. Beloved husband of Patricia E. Dougherty (nee Springer). Loving father of Richard (Wendy), Roger (Donna), Robin Delareto (Evan Linnett) and Ruth. Proud grandfather of Anthony Delareto, Devon Kolomyjec (Brett), Jenna, Callyn Dougherty, Kelsea Newman (Landon) and Paige Dougherty and dear great grandpop to Olivia Grace. He is the brother of the late William Dougherty. Mr. Dougherty was a proud Eagle Scout, a veteran of the US Air Force, a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul and an active member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Holly. In his working career, he was an accountant and after retirement went onto drive a School Bus for Evesham Twp. which he enjoyed for many years. He loved old movies, good books, and watching political commentary. Gardening and golfing were among his favorite hobbies, and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday May 11 from 5:00-6:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Holly 1341 Woodlane Rd, Mt Holly, NJ where a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association P. O. Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215
