Obituary for Chester R. Knauss

Chester R. Knauss, of Marlton, NJ, previously of Maple Shade, NJ. Passed away on May 18, 2018, age 97. Beloved husband of Shirley Loughlin McHugh and the late Margaret W. Knauss. Devoted father of Nancy Knauss Zoog (J. William), Thomas W. Knauss (Dorothy G.), and the late Margaret J. Burke (Raymond). Caring brother of Marie DiFlorido. Loving grandfather of nine and great grandfather of 15. Chester proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the VFW post 6295. He was an electrical designer and previously worked for I.T.E. and Stone & Webster. Chester was a devoted family man and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, May 22 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. The memorial mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Saint John Neumann Church, 560 Walton Ave., Mount Laurel, NJ. Interment will be at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Bucks County Special Olympics, 3535 Rockview Dr., Bristol, PA 19007.
