Obituary for Vincent G. Leone

Vincent G. Leone
LEONE, Vincent G. On April 16, 2019. Of Marlton, NJ. Age 82. Beloved husband of 45 years to Evelyn (nee Avenarius). Devoted father of Lisa and Lori Leone. Dear brother of Leonard Leone. Vince will also be missed by his extended family, especially his most dear cousins, nephew David and his family, as well as his friends, and his buddy Chandler, the family dog. Vince served in the US Army and was a member of the Marlton VFW, The Knights of Columbus, and The Sons of Italy (“Isn’t it great to be Italian?” he was often known to say). He worked for many years for RCA in Cherry Hill, and then went on to become an independent businessman owning businesses in both Glassboro and N. Cape May. Vince was also an avid New York sports fan, ever rooting on his Mets and Jets. He also spent time reading about history, politics, and sports; Vince was known to be quite at home with his favorite newspaper, The New York Post. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, April 24th from 9-10 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Rd. Marlton, NJ 08053. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate
