Obituary for Rose A. Urbano

Rose A.  Urbano
URBANO, Rose A., 88, peacefully passed away on April 14, 2015 at the Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. She was born on July 22, 1926 in North Tonawanda, NY, where she spent most of her life. Beloved wife of the late Silvio ''George'' Urbano. Loving mother of Rebecca Grady (the late Michael) and Joyce Kobel (the late Richard). Dear sister of Charles Foti (Regina), the late Ida Pilozzi (James), and the late Josephine Mulivich (the late Michael). Caring grandmother of Stephanie Adamiak (Jeremy), Kathleen Grady, Deborah Fitzgerald (Timothy), Pamela Harig, and Paul Kobel and great grandmother to Dan, Sam, Jack and Grace. Rose is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Rose worked at Remmington Rand, where she earned the Rosie the Riveter award during WWII. She also worked at the National Grinding Wheel. In retirement, she volunteered as a Grandmother at the Spruce Elementary School. She enjoyed playing bingo, trips to the casino, and cooking. Her loving spirit and cheerful personality will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on April 20, from 10 AM to 11 AM, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ. The funeral mass will be at 11 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose''s name to the Samaritan Hospice.
