JOANNE MARINI SPAGNOLA
Age 77 – Mount Laurel, NJ and Aruba

September 14th, 2018. Joanne Marini Spagnola, 77, of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Aruba, passed Friday, September 14th, 2018, surrounded by loving family and friends in Horacio E. Oduber Hospital, Aruba.

Born and raised in Camden, NJ, Joanne graduated from St. Joseph High School, Camden, NJ, and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA. She later earned her BA in School Nursing from Glassboro State College, NJ. As an RN, Joanne served at Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ, and Cherokee High School, Marlton, NJ, from where she retired.

Joanne Stella Marini and Thomas Anthony Spagnola wed in 1963, moved to Mount Laurel in 1968, and began their family in 1969. Joanne was predeceased by her adoring husband Tom in 2013. She is survived by loving children Amy, of Aruba, and Adam. She is also survived by her sister Alice Marini of Philadelphia, brother Joe Marini and his son Matt of Mount Ephraim, sister-in-law Judith Spagnola of Cherry Hill, brother-in-law Dr. John and Janet Spagnola of Marlton, niece Joelle, nephew Jonathan, and great niece Hannah.

Joanne cherished her family and friends; enjoyed vacations on the Outer Banks, in Aruba, and elsewhere; and was an avid gardener.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing Thursday morning, September 27th, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, at Church of St. Isaac Jogues, 3 Lord Place, Marlton, NJ. Interment follows at New St. Mary's in Bellmawr, NJ.
